Proud landowners

After an intensive search, we have found the perfect place for our central forest tree nursery in the village of Kathumpeh in northern Sierra Leone. After several thumbprints and signatures, we are now proud landowners in West Africa for the next 30 years! On more than one hectare of leased land, we will grow around 60,000 future rainforest giants per year and make them available to the communities in the district free of charge for the reforestation of their lost rainforests. This is good for the people in one of the poorest countries in the world and it is good for our climate.
